DRY FOOD WITHOUT CHICKEN MEAT AND FAT

Why doesn’t CARNILOVE use chicken meat or fat?

The composition of pet food is not only about what it contains. It’s just as much about what it doesn’t contain — and why.

CARNILOVE dry food does not include chicken meat or chicken fat. Not because of a trend, but because of our approach to nutrition.

Not all sources are the same

Dogs and cats can utilize different types of meat and fat. The difference lies in how their bodies respond to them.

Different sources vary in:

  • digestibility

  • nutrient utilization

  • tolerance

And this is exactly what matters when formulating a recipe.

Why chicken-free

Chicken meat and fat are commonly used ingredients. At the same time, they are among the more frequent sources of sensitivities.

That’s why we chose a different approach.

This does not mean that chicken is inherently unsuitable. However, when developing our recipes, we prioritize sources that offer greater consistency and broader tolerance.

The role of fat

Fat is the primary source of energy for carnivores.

Different fats vary in how the body can utilize them. This affects:

  • energy stability

  • digestive load

  • overall condition

That’s why it’s not just about the amount of fat, but also its origin.

Why we use beef fat

In CARNILOVE recipes, beef fat is used as the main source of energy.

In practice, this means:

  • gradual energy release

  • high usability by the body

  • stability during processing and storage

It is also well tolerated by many dogs and cats.

Consistency you can rely on

When selecting ingredients, we don’t look for the most common solution. We look for what works consistently over time.

  • a variety of meat sources

  • functional animal fats

  • formulations that respect natural needs

Every ingredient has its place.

The source matters

With both meat and fat, origin plays a key role. And it directly influences how the food performs in practice.

Every day, in the bowl.
